Complimented with every possible preamp adjustment, the NANO amplifiers leave nothing to be desired… The new Tarantula NANO amplifiers pack huge amounts of power into small chassis thanks to efficient Full-Range Class D topology and SMT technology. But that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice big power for your system. Smaller, more economical vehicles are more and more desirable. and the data that is available on any such tests is generally too subjective to be taken seriously. We’re in a time where small is “in”. But my oppinion is that there too much outside influence to make a true assessment on the difference that speaker cable will make to the final sound your speakers produce. Maybe I'm wrong - or maybe I've spent too much time in pro audio to give a rats a$s about audiophiles and their bull crap about what makes a difference. etc.Ĭhances are that you havent done all that because - hey your driving a 4x4, and you've got a noisey donk upfront (especially if its a 3L) that makes most of the afore mentioned "enhancements" null and void. after you've completely sound deadend the vehicle, changed speakers, upgraded the alt, isolated the source unit, used high quality interconnects, added a good sub. Now - Your speaker wire could be the weakest link. Unfortunately I am a part of CAA / MEA - differing oppinions between myself and "management" make it interesting to say the least. Im fitting 8" subs to the doors on my GU and I'll be using the OE wire through the door. If you anal then you can pull wire through plugs. I also Judge the CAASQ series in Victoria. I'm Live Audio Engineer running FOH and as a system engineer. The fatter the wire you go the more chance you have of inducing the skining effect. unless you are installing 2 ohm impedance speakers then I wouldnt worry about it.įYI the CAASQ National champion in 2005 and runner up national champion in 2006 used OEM wire in his vehicle. Voice coils and tinsle leads are far smaller in x-sectional area than the OE wire. ![]() Speakers are inductors and they have impedance rise and fall inrelation to the VC position within the motor. For the distance from the pillar to the speaker you will find that the DC resistance will be stuff all and the AC (music) resistance even less. ![]() Cut into it at the pillar (you can even splice into it if you want as there wont be two signals coming in).
